SBI PO Recruitment 2015 Notification, Apply Online


The State Bank of India is inviting online application for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in various branches of SBI across India. Candidates, who were eagerly waiting for the SBI PO Recruitment 2015, can now apply online on or before 02.05.2015. Eligibility criteria and other details are given on this page.

Education criteria: Graduation from a recognized University or in the final year of graduation

Age limit: 21 to 30 years as on 01.09.2015 

Pay scale: Rs.16,900/- basic pay in the scale of Rs. 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700

Selection Process

SBI PO selection process involves three steps as following
  1. Preliminary Examination: Objective type online exam of 100 marks from English, Aptitude and Reasoning subjects. It is mandatory to clear all subjects individually.
  2. Main Examination: It consists two papers, objective and descriptive. Objective paper is conducted online for 200 marks. Descriptive Test is English Language test (Letter Writing & Essay)
  3. Group Discussion & Interview: GD & Interview are conducted for those, who clear main examination

Before you apply for the post, make sure that

  4. Fill all the required details and hit 'Save & Next' button
  5. Upload your photo and signature in the mentioned dimensions and hit 'Save & Next' button
  6. Fill the additional details as asked in the form and hit Next button
  7. Verify the details and modify if necessary. If not, click on Final Submit button
  8. Now, click on Payment tab and proceed with payment. Choose the payment mode from OFFLINE or ONLINE payment and hit Submit button. Payment mode once selected cannot be changed.

SBI not eligible for Rs 50,000 crore EPFO investments
